Regardless of a development’s purpose or scale, at Norfolk, we look to make a commitment and contribution to the current and future communities in which our work exists.

We consider these contributions as not being limited to creating celebrated spaces for businesses to operate, thrive and display their own identity, but ones that complement what surrounds. Ultimately, it’s about collective enjoyment.

In 2017, we quietly established a presence in Byron Bay and have organically since developed a reputation for quality residential work. It is a quality governed by design, an appreciation for fine materials and functional ease. Fast forward and this focus now extends to our current commercial projects.

Alex Douglas
Alex Douglas
Sole Director

After completing a Bachelor of Commerce, Alex relocated from the Gold Coast to Brisbane to work for a private property developer and major stakeholder of what would come to be recognized - and celebrated - as the James Street precinct. After ten years learning all manner of operations and managing a portfolio of premium commercial properties, he moved to Byron Bay. For Alex, the move was an opportunity to carve out his own remit, in a region he’s long loved. His current focus is on the Byron Arts and Industry Estate. He formerly served as a Director of the Byron Bay Golf Club.
